Custom homes in Whitefish and the Flathead, built by the person who’s on your job site.
Design and construction under one contract, from the first walk on the lot to the day you get the keys.
A builder, not a company that builds
Whitefish Property Pro’s is Les Moore’s construction company. Not a franchise, not a partnership of thirty people you’ll meet twice — Les runs the jobs, on the crew, not just in the office. When you call, you get the person who knows your site, your permit status, and where your build actually stands today — because he was on it.
We take on custom homes in Whitefish, Kalispell, Columbia Falls, Bigfork, and out in the county. If you have land, or you’re close to buying some, we’ll walk it with you and tell you straight what it will take to put a house on it.
A lot of builders draw something, or build from someone else’s drawings, and hand you off between the two. We stay on the job for both. That matters here because the permit path, the snow load, and the site work change lot to lot — somebody has to own the whole thing, not just their piece of it.
About usWhat you’re actually getting
Years in the Flathead Valley
Building custom homes across Whitefish and the surrounding county.
City & county
Whitefish isn’t the same as Flathead County. We pull permits for in-city builds; out in the county, most sites don’t require one. Either way, we sort out what applies to your site before it becomes a surprise.
Site first
Driveway, well or city water, septic or sewer, and power decide more of the budget than the floor plan does.
One contract
Design, permits, construction, and closeout sit with us. You’re not left hiring a second company halfway through.
One builder
You’re not a file passed to a project manager once the contract’s signed. Les is the contact from the first site walk to the final punch list.
On the crew, not just the phone
Les wears the bags — framing, siding, and setting tile alongside the same crew he’s had since day one.
Your lot and your plan. Two styles we do a lot of.
We build custom homes — the plan you already have, the house an architect is drawing, or a design we develop with you from scratch. Two styles come up constantly in this area, so we’ve spent real time on both: mountain modern houses, and barndominium-style homes with finished living attached to a real workspace.
Mountain Modern
Cedar, black metal, and glass. Usually a view lot or an in-town site in Whitefish, Kalispell, Columbia Falls, or Bigfork. Some Whitefish neighborhoods will review the elevation before you can pull a permit — we design for that instead of arguing about it later.
Barndominium-Style Homes
A heated shop and a finished house in one building. This is a strong fit on county acreage when you need workspace, storage, or equipment on the same pad. The living side gets finished like a house — we don’t treat it like a metal shell with rooms added in.
Those are specialties, not a menu of two models. Bring a cabin, a remodel that’s really a new house, or a plan someone else already drew — we look at it the same way we look at everything else: can this site support it, and can we build it well.
Recent projects
We’re not going to tell you we’ve built a hundred homes.
Because we haven’t — we’ve built under ten, and every one of them got the same thing: Les on-site, not a rotation of project managers learning your job as they go. If you want a builder with a big back-office and a long project list, there are good ones in this valley. If you want the person running your job to actually be the person who answers the phone, that’s us.
